Free and Open to the Public!

Featuring Hatem Abudayyeh

Department of Homeland Security agents arrested Rasmea Yousef Odeh at her home last October, alleging an immigration violation from 20 years ago. She is the most recent target in a string of politically motivated witch-hunts by the US government against Arabs and Muslims, particularly those who are critical of US support for Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

Hatem Abudayyeh is Executive Director of the Arab American Action Network, and a coworker of Rasmea. Abudayyeh will explain the fascinating history of Odeh’s activism and the details surrounding her trial, which is scheduled to begin September 8, 2014 in Detroit.
