#FreeThemAll Digital Action – Saturday, Jan 22nd 2022  Social Media Storm Toolkit

USPCN partners with allies in Southern California, across North America, Europe, and back home in Palestine to launch a campaign centered around freedom for Palestinian political prisoners. Join us starting TODAY for a social media storm to mark a week (Jan 18th – 23rd) of digital action as we take the salt & water challenge, continue our pressure on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and uplift the struggle of prisoners through their cases and demands. Our demands include release of all Palestinian political prisoners including the 200 on hunger strike, the 500 held under illegal administrative detention, and those who continue to suffer under unspeakable tortue, medical abuse, assault, illness, and other crimes committed by the Israelis.

The following toolkit contains everything you need to create your own content for our social media storm starting at 11:00am PST / 2:00pm EST / 9:00pm Palestine and continuing all day. This storm serves to continue the conversations about Palestinian political prisoners, the defense of An-Naqab, Alkhalil, Sheikh Jarrah, and other topics until the greater media can no longer ignore our collective digital action. This is one of many things we can do together to support #AllOfPalestine in its steadfast resistance against the zionists and apartheid Israel.

  • Israel does not comply with legal & international standards that allow for equality before the law, as they rarely guarantee a fair trial for Palestinians. Israel needs to #EndAdministrativeDetention & end the imprisonment of Palestinians without charge or trial!

  • Palestinians are abducted from their homes at odd hours by Israeli forces without warrants nor knowing reason for arrest. Blindfolded & bonded, they’re unaware of location taken to while experiencing abuse from moment of arrest #EndAdministrativeDetention http://www.addameer.org/publications/al-moscabiyeh-torture-heart-jerusalem

  • According to @Addameer’s website, there are currently over 4,500 Palestinian political prisoners, many of them are held without charge or trial & many held in adminstrative dention. Many of these Palestinans are at constant risk of Israeli torture. #EndAdministrativeDetention

  • Administrative detention allows Israel to hold Palestinians for an indefinite amount of time within Israeli prisons without charge or trial & without evidence with family members or lawyers of those detained. We demand Israel #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW!

  • Israel’s practice of administrative detention is a violation of multiple international human rights laws. They remove a person’s right to defend themselves and their right to a fair trial. We demand Israel #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW!

  • Israel is a settler colonial apartheid state that ruthlessly kidnaps, arrests, and tortures Palestinians to destroy any efforts of Palestinian liberation. We must demand an end to Israel’s injustices! #FreeThemAll #EndAdministrativeDetention

  • Israeli policy of administrative detention shows no mercy, as it allows for military personnel to hold prisoners indefinitely without charge, without trial, & without any information. Life under Israeli apartheid is an unjust, hope shattering one. #EndAdministrativeDetention

  • Israel does not comply with legal & international standards that allow for equality before the law, as they rarely guarantee a fair trial for Palestinians. Palestinians deserve to be treated with dignity. We demand Israel #FreeThemAll NOW!

  • .@Addameer  is an org committed to supporting Palestinians & exposing human rights violations committed against political prisoners in Israeli jails. Their work is imperative to the liberation of Palestinian Political Prisoners as they work on the ground to #FreeThemAll

  • Hisham Abu Hawash, Alaa Al-Araj, Miqdad Al Qawasami are three of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners. They have been freed from the injustice of administrative detention after 100+ days of hunger strike. Freedom is the demand! #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW!
  • Hisham Abu Hawash, a father and construction laborer, got COVID-19 in administrative detention and had his health repeatedly neglected by Israeli hospital staff and the @ICRC . The health and safety of Palestinians need to be prioritized, #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW!

  • Alaa Al-Araj, a 34 year old civil engineer, suffers from great fatigue, significant pain, and repeated loss of consciousness. Israeli authorities continue to inhumanely dismiss his dire conditions. #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW! https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/palestinian-prisoner-alaa-alaraj-seizes-freedom-from-occupat

  • Miqdad Al Qawasami’s detention is but an example of what all political prisoners could experience in Israel’s administrative detention. His 113 day hunger strike, which posed a threat to his health, cannot be ignored. #EndAdministrativeDetention NOW!

  • At least 80 Palestinians have been detained since the protests began, including minors, lawyers told Al Jazeera. The vast majority remain in detention. Marwan Abu Freih, a lawyer representing some of the families and a field coordinator with the Adalah human rights group, said, “There is a clear escalation.” “It is unprecedented that JNF bulldozers are arriving with this amount of protection – hundreds of police, special forces and mounted police – this has never happened here before,” he told Al Jazeera. He said police “blockaded villages, placed checkpoints and stopped traffic – prevented people from going home and school buses to enter and exit”.” https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/1/13/israeli-forces-violently-suppress-palestinian-protest-in-naqab

  • “Though Palestinian human rights organizations regularly submit complaints to the Israeli authorities they rarely receive a reply, and when they do it is often to inform them that the case file has been closed due to a lack of evidence. In fact, 1,200 complaints have been leveled against the security services for torture since 2001, but no agent has ever been prosecuted.” https://al-shabaka.org/briefs/the-systematic-torture-of-palestinians-in-israeli-detention/

  • “On 20 December 2021, Palestinian administrative detainees, 500 in total, announced their collective and comprehensive boycott of Israeli military courts, to begin 1 January 2022, under the campaign ‘Our Decision is Freedom… No to Administrative Detention.’ …The boycott includes Israeli military courts at all levels, including courts of first instance, appellate courts, and the Israeli civil High Court. Accordingly, Palestinian administrative detainees will refuse to participate in court procedures and hearings; their legal counsel will no longer attend or participate in the court procedures on their behalf. In line with the Palestinian administrative detainees’ boycott of Israeli military courts, Addameer echoes the call for solidarity and to demand that local and international human rights institutions and State parties call on the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime to end its policy of administrative detention and release all administrative detainees currently held in Israeli occupation prisons.” https://www.addameer.org/news/4662

  • “Administrative detention deeply affects the families of the detainees, especially in the case of minors. The families do not know when their loved ones will be released, and are forced to live in uncertainty for months on end. As Israel does not permit them regular contact, they have no way of knowing the physical and mental state of their incarcerated relatives. Phone calls are prohibited and visits are limited to a brief meeting behind a glass partition, with long intervals in between.” https://www.btselem.org/administrative_detention/20211128_israel_holds_even_palestinian_minors_in_administrative_detention
