Please join us as Lana Ramadan – the International Advocacy Officer of Addameer, the most prominent Palestinian political prisoners support organization in the world – discusses the Israeli raid on its offices in Ramallah, the most recent, brutal escalation of attacks on political prisoners and their advocates, and Palestinian resistance to this policy.

In addition, solidarity messages from the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and Organized Communities Against Deportations.

USPCN supporting two events for Palestinian writer and human rights activist Yousef Aljamal in Milwaukee Saturday, October 26th

Join us for a conversation and reading with Palestinian writer and human rights activist Yousef Aljamal. Local Milwaukee activists will be on hand to discuss connections between child detention in Palestine and the U.S. prison industrial complex, including migrant detention.

Yousef is on a speaking tour in the U.S. organized nationally by Just World Educational. He grew up in a refugee camp in Gaza and lived through the three major assaults that Israel launched on the Strip in 2008, 2012, and 2014.

Yousef recently translated into English the book Dreaming of Freedom: Palestinian Child Prisoners Speak, and he contributed a short story to the anthology Gaza Writes Back: Short Stories from Young Writers in Gaza, Palestine.
