The Palestinian American Community Center is hosting a Mass March for Gaza to raise much-needed funds to deliver vital aid to the 200,000 displaced Palestinians of Gaza in UNRWA shelters and schools. The United Nations and human rights organizations are monitoring, documenting the impact of Israel’s military offensive on Palestinian civilians in Gaza and strongly condemning their illegal attacks while repeatedly calling for an immediate ceasefire. The UN reports 1,948 Palestinian civilians killed in which 456 were children and 237 women. Moreover, an estimated 40,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed as Israeli military attacks waged on civilians enters its second month causing half a million plus to be displaced! As the Strip reels from its third war in seven years and a crippling illegal blockade, it is imperative that we demand an end to Israel’s war crimes and to place pressure on our government to stop providing arms to Israel! The collective punishment of a civilian population and the indiscriminate and disproportionate use of force against Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli military and government is not only illegal and unlawful but in gross violation of International Humanitarian Law according to the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Still need a reason to come out this Sunday in solidarity with human rights? I think not! Gaza needs our help now hence your crucial participation! Come out and join us on Sunday, August 17th at 11am to support us in reaching our goal of $100,000! Your participation is instrumental in helping us help Gaza recover by rebuilding its shattered infrastructures, homes and confidence!

We will be selling #SupportGaza t-shirts online and on the day of the march for $10 each to raise such funds. 100% of the proceeds from the March for Gaza will directly go to benefiting displaced families in UNWRA shelters and schools due to the devastating military offensive and prolonged blockade. Once again all proceeds will go directly to the Palestinian families (not the organization but to individual families) of Gaza displaced in UNWRA schools and shelters by Israel’s military onslaught.

While there is no registration fee, we strongly encourage you to register in advance online to avoid lines on the day of the march and to pre-order your t-shirt(s).

Whether you participate as a sponsor or march with us, we hope to see you there on the 17th!
