Introduction:
In the New Year of 2024, we are demanding an immediate end to apartheid Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and all of Palestine. Since October 7th, 2023, over 20,000 Palestinians have been massacred and over 55,000 have been injured due to Israel’s recent aggression. There can be no joy or celebrations as usual while Gaza is facing genocide.

- We call on those in the movements for the freedom of Black and brown people in the US to start 2024 fighting for a free Palestine. From January 1st to the 7th, join us in taking solidarity actions and demanding the US stop supporting Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people.
- Oppressed people around the world are harmed by the same white supremacist system, so we have to support each other’s struggles. Palestinians have supported the struggles of Black people from the anti-apartheid fight in South Africa to recent uprisings against police crimes in the US.

- The US government is currently backing genocide in Gaza with billions of taxpayer dollars. The US also has over 2 million prisoners and kills over 1,000 people a year, disproportionately Black and brown people.
- The US gives $4 billion a year in addition to military and political support to Apartheid Israel. When politicians continue to support Israel as it bombs homes, schools, hospitals, and places of worship, they show disregard for the people who overwhelmingly oppose the genocide.
- Politicians like Joe Biden, Jan Schakowsky, Sean Casten, Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth are complicit in the genocide in Gaza. We ask supporters of Palestine to call their offices and demand they stop backing genocide.
