To US Palestinian Community Network chapters, members, and our brothers and sisters in the U.S.-based Palestinian and Arab Diaspora:

The US Palestinian Community Network will hold its next national planning meeting in San Francisco, California, from Friday, January 15, 2010-Sunday, January 17, 2010. Book your tickets and make your travel plans today to join your fellow USPCN members to plan for a year of exciting action, organizing, and building in 2010!

This national planning meeting will be a working meeting addressing key issues:

  • Planning for the Second Popular Palestinian Conference to take place in 2010
  • Planning for Palestinian participation in the U.S. Social Forum in Detroit in 2010 (the USPCN is part of the USSF’s National Planning Committee)
  • Building USPCN for the future – including fundraising plans and organizational development.

The meeting will also feature an exciting Cultural Night on Saturday, January 16! We invite all USPCN chapters and members, as well as new members and those members of our Palestinian and Arab community in the U.S. interested in developing new chapters and building USPCN for the future to join us in San Francisco January 15-17!

In August 2008, we successfully held a Popular Palestinian Conference that brought together Palestinians from all walks of life living throughout the U.S. The banner under which this effort was organized stated, “Palestinians in the U.S.: Reclaiming our Voice, Asserting our Narrative,” and its message was unequivocally clear: we shall not be divided as a national body. Since that time, we have hosted multiple national speaking and cultural tours, participated in international efforts to break the siege on Gaza and isolate Israel through boycott, divestment and sanctions, actively organized in our communities to build community institutions and defend our rights, and clearly and consistently affirmed our Palestinian and Arab community’s commitment to our national rights and cause. Learn more about USPCN at our website: www.palestineconference.org.

Join us in San Francisco January 15-17 to build upon the existing work of the USPCN, develop the next Popular Palestinian Conference, and deepen and strengthen our community’s struggle for justice!
