Palestinians in Austin denounce the Palestinian Authority and demand PLO reform

Palestinians in Austin, Texas  protested on March 15, denouncing the Palestinian Authority and demanding reform in the PLO. They signed on to the statement below:

I am a Palestinian in the diaspora and affirm that I do not authorize the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, or the Palestine Liberation Organization in its current form to speak on my behalf.

I demand immediate elections in the Palestine National Council and a legitimate leadership that will strive to secure all my human rights, including my right to return to my home in Palestine.

I also demand the immediate cessation of any talks or coordination with Israel until it recognizes its responsibility for ethnically cleansing my people and until it ceases its continous crimes against the Palestinian people, including an immediate end to the siege on Gaza.
