The USPCN-DC is excited to be preparing for the DC-Palestine Film Festival where it will showcase Palestinian art, artists, filmmakers, and cinema.
The event to take place throughout DC and Northern Virginia in the last week of September 2011 will include:
- the US-premiere screening of films just completed in Palestine TBA!!!
- new up and coming Palestinian artists like Yousef Erakat of FouseyTube
- award-winning films like “The Time That Remains” by Elia Suleiman
- Short films like “Be Quiet” by Sameh Zoabi and “Arafat and I ” by Mehdi Fleifel; and
- panels featuring DC’s artist and artistic communities discussing the role of art in conflict
