In the wake of last year’s United Nations General Assembly resolution that elevated Palestine’s status from “non-member observer entity” to “non-member observer state,” Palestinians and Arabs everywhere have been discussing what this actually means for our people across the world. Was this truly a victory for the Palestinian National Movement, or just a symbolic gesture that doesn’t win us any more rights than we have right now? Together, Hatem Abudayyeh and Mira Nabulsi will answer this question and more, as well as address the political repression of Palestinian and international solidarity activists in the U.S.
