In the West Bank, protests are taking place in the cities of Tulkarem, Nablus, Al-Khalil, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Jericho, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Qalandia. Across the Gaza Strip, protests are also happening in Jabalia, Gaza City, Rafah, Khan Yunis, and elsewhere, with demonstrators additionally showing up to the East’s separation fence.

The streets of Palestine are on fire. Over twenty 1948-occupied Palestinian cities are also seeing mass protests and confrontations with the Israeli occupation, in solidarity with Jerusalem, including Haifa, Nazareth, Majd Al-Kurum, Ramle, and others. Palestinians succeeded in raising the flag of Palestine in Rahat, Um al Fahem, and al-Lyd, where a state of emergency was declared after the Palestinian people took control of the city.

During the days of protests inside Jerusalem alone, Israeli forces have arrested approximately 100 Palestinians and injured 450, according to local media sources. As of this morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says the death toll from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes have reached 56, including 14 children; and 320 others have been wounded.

Our people in Jerusalem have been waging a heroic resistance campaign against Israeli efforts to forcibly displace over 2,000 Palestinians from the neighborhoods of Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan – as part of the ongoing ethnic cleansing and ‘Judaization’ of Jerusalem. As a result, Israel suffered a humiliating setback as Zionist settlers were forced to cancel their racist annual ‘Jerusalem Day’ parade, which was supposed to “celebrate” their illegal 1967 occupation of Jerusalem.
