Palestinian prisoners declare victory and call off hunger strike after Israel forced to accede to their Demands!

الأسرى الفلسطينيون يعلقون إضرابهم عن الطعام بعد موافقة إسرائيل على وقف إجراءاتها

On Thursday, March 23rd, 2023, our brave and steadfast Palestinian political prisoners called off their open-ended hunger strike before it began, after the Israeli military acceded to their demands!

The hunger strike was announced by the prisoners last week as part of several escalations of resistance after a massive increase of violence and rights violations against the prisoners – as ordered by the racist, white supremacist Israeli security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

علق الأسرى الفلسطينيون في سجون الاحتلال قرار إضرابهم عن الطعام الذي كان مقررا أن يبدأ اليوم، ويأتي هذا القرار بعد موافقة مصلحة السجون الإسرائيلية وجهاز الشاباك على وقف اجراءاتها العقابية والانتقامية التي تم فرضها على الأسرى الفلسطينيين منذ عملية هروب ستة أسرى من سجن جلبوع، وكذلك الإجراءات التي فرضها وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي إيتمار بن غفير وتضمنت اجراءات انتقامية صارمة وصلت الى حد قطع المياه ومنع الخبز عنهم

To our great people, salutes of pride and victory:

We take advantage of this opportunity to congratulate our people on the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, and we pray to God to be able to congratulate them again when our prisoners and detainees have been liberated.

With this entry into the month of victories, your imprisoned children wrote a new page in the book of glory and honor, as the zionist enemy was forced to stop measures that it sought to impose upon us. Thanks to the unity of the prisoners and the support of their people for them, the prisoners’ movement was able to record a new victory in the pages of glory and steadfastness.

On this occasion, we send the following messages:

The first message: To our prisoners, our troops who always show their complete readiness and solid unity, you have all our appreciation and pride for this unparalleled freedom fighter bravery.

The second message: To our resisting people who supported us throughout our past movement, gratitude to a people who know the meaning of loyalty, who practice it as a behavior and adopt it as a method.

The third message: To our brutal enemy, you must realize and understand well that the prisoners are not alone, and they are not easy prey for any invader on our land.

Finally: We extend our thanks and appreciation to all those who support us among the free people of the world, the supporters of our just cause.

Mercy to the martyrs, healing for the wounded, freedom and victory to the prisoners.

:يا جماهير شعبنا العظيم؛ تحية الفخار والانتصار”

يطيب لنا أن نستثمر هذه الفرصة لنبارك لشعبنا قدوم شهر رمضان المبارك، راجين المولى -عزَّ وجل- أن يعيده وقد تحرر الأسرى والمسرى

ومع دخول شهر الانتصارات؛ سطر أبناؤكم الأسرى صفحةً جديدة من صفحات العز والفخار، حيث أجبرنا العدو الصهيوني أن يوقف إجراءاته بحقنا، والتي سعى لفرضها علينا، وبفضل الله أولًا ثم بفضل وحدة الأسرى وإسناد شعبهم لهم تمكنت الحركة الأسيرة من تسجيل انتصارٍ جديد في صفحات العز والصمود.

وبهذه المناسبة، نبرق بالرسائل الآتية:

الرسالة الأولى: لأسرانا وجيشنا الذي يُثبت دومًا جهوزيته الكاملة ووحدة صفه المتين؛ فلكم منا كل التقدير والاعتزاز على هذه الجهوزية والفدائية منقطعة النظير.

الرسالة الثانية: لشعبنا المقاوم الذي ساندنا طوال فترة حراكنا الماضي؛ فلكم رسالة شكرٍ وعرفان لشعبٍ عَرف معنى الوفاء فمارسه سلوكًا واتخذه منهجًا.

الرسالة الثالثة: لعدونا الغاشم، عليك أن تدرك وتفهم جيدًا أن الأسرى ليسوا وحدهم، وليسوا لقمةً سائغة لكل عابرٍ على أرضنا.

ختامًا: نوجه شكرنا وتقديرنا لكل من ساندنا من أحرار العالم، مناصري قضيتنا العادلة.

The Collective Strike of Palestinian Political Prisoners

Prisoners declare their collective will and final testament before the possibility of starting an open ended hunger strike (Volcano of Freedom or Martyrdom)

After finding ourselves alone facing death and oblivion, and as we struggle against the impossible as prisoners, we are besieged to the end between the jaws of neglect and the colonial fangs of Ben-Gvir [Itamar Ben-Gvir, the racist, ultra-right, zionist Minister of National Security of Israel]. As a result, we have decided with firm and faithful wills, arising from the womb of our liberation and human consciousness, and after trusting in God and the will of our people, to launch arrows from the strings of our rebellious souls. It will be either a red freedom stained with hunger and dignity, or a certain victory over the self and the world together.

Trust us. Trust in the will of the prisoners, O mighty people of resistance, as you have known us when free, we were and still are projects of martyrdom, the definition of duty-bound freedom, and important symbols of struggle. This is attested to and proven in the unilaterally chosen battles. Our struggle is inspiring national uplift that can be built and relied upon. This is the destiny of the free. And now our souls stand erect.

We will make, with you, our free destiny. We will make our freedom from grains of light emanating from our eyes, and the scents of souls hanging on the thick thread of eyelashes of freedom. People of martyrs and prisoners, on the paths of freedom, as we stand with you at the threshold of the decisive confrontation: we greet you with much love and longing. We greet you with something of our souls that desire only to embrace you in the vast space of freedom.

We stand firm and proud of the projects of martyrdom. Our free souls leap from the depths of their stone graves. We put our faith on your conscience as well as your brown and tanned arms. As we proceed with our struggle, we ask you to wish us well. Do not leave us alone in the battlefields, exposed to the invader’s arrows. Protect our souls and watch our backs, as you are the unified and principled. Relying on you is a winning bet.

Liberate us while we are still alive, before we turn into lifeless bodies and numbers. Free us from our cold iron tombs. Free us from the refrigerators of the dead. Free us from the cemeteries of the living, before we become forgotten gravestones. Free us once and for all so that you may liberate our human souls to their highest heaven. Know that our freedom is destined. We will snatch it from the clutches of the colonizers with the strength of the truth and the will to live, for it is both a right and a duty. Know that history does not forgive, nor does it forget.

We ask of you to hold dear the following seven essential pillars: Palestine and its historical narrative, all forms of resistance, national unity, the families of martyrs and prisoners, the Palestinian woman guarding our Palestinian democracy; and political pluralism.

We also ask you to hold dear the following four liberating geographies: the geography of martyrs, the model and inspiring symbol; the geography of prisoners, the symbols of action and the destined freedom; the geography of the refugee camp, the essence of the issue and the right of return; and the geography of the student movement, the awareness and youthful vigor.

بعد أن وجدنا أنفسنا وحيدين في مواجهة الموت والنسيان، نصارع المستحيل ونحن أسرى، نحَاصر حتّى النهاية، بين فكيّ كماشة الإهمال، وأنياب (بن غفير) الاستعمارية، قررنا بملء الإرادات المؤمنة، المنبثقة من رحم وعينا التحرريّ والإنسانيّ، بعد التّوكل على الله، وإرادة شعبنا الحي، أن ننطلق سهاماً من على أوتار أرواحنا المتمردة، فإما حرّيّة حمراء مخضبة بالجوع، والكرامة، وإمّا انتصار أكيد على الذات، والدنيا معاً.

ثقوا بنا، ثقوا بإرادة الأسـرى يا شعب الجبارين، والمقاومة، فكما عرفتمونا أحرارًا، كنّا وما زلنا، مشاريع شهادة، عناوين حرّيّة واجبة، عتلات نضالية مهمة، يشهد لثباتها الفلسطينيّ الأكيد في ميادين المواجهة، وساحات الاشتباك، صفرية المسافة، أحادية الخيار، والقبلة، وروافع وطنية ملهمة أيضًا، يمكن البناء، والرهان عليها، أيّما رهان في كل زمان، ومكان، هذا قدر الأحرّار، وها قد انبرت له أرواحنا منتصبة، سنصنع وإياكم أقدارنا الحرّة، من حبات الضوء المسربل من حدقات العيون، ونفحات الأرواح المعلقة بأهداب الحرّيّة، وخيطها السّميك، شعب الشّهداء والأسرى في دروب الحرّيّة، ونحن نقف وإياكم على عتبات المواجهة الفارقة نحييكم، وفي تحيتنا، كثير حبٍ وشوق، و شيء من أرواحنا التي لا تستطيب إلا لعناقكم، في فضاء الحرّيّة الرّحبة.

نقف في ثبات، وشموخ لمشاريع شهادة، تتوثب أرواحنا الحرّة من أعماق مدفنها الحجريّ، مراهنين على ضمائركم الحيّة، وعلى سواعدكم السّمراء بالآن نفسه، وقبل أن نكتمل بأسباب الرحيل نوصيكم بنّا خيراً، لا تتركونا وحدنا في ساحات المعركة، مكشوفين لسهام الغزاة، احموا أرواحنا وظهورنا، فأنتم أحادي القيم والمبادئ، والرهان عليكم كاسب، حرّرونا ونحن أسرى أحياء، قبل أنّ نكون جثثاً ميتة وأرقام، حرّرونا من مدافننا الحديدية الباردة، حرّرونا من ثلاجات الموتى، حرّرونا من مقابر الأحياء، قبل أن نتحوّل إلى شواهد منسية في مقابر الأرقام، فحرّرونا مرةً، وللأبد كي تحرّروا أرواحنا الإنسانية، حتّى حدود سمائها السّابعة واعلموا أنّ حرُّيتنا واجبة، سننتزعها من بين براثن المستعمر، بقوة الحقّ، وإرادة الحياة، فهي حقّ ودين، والتّاريخ لا يرحم مثلما لا يغفر.

نوصيكم خيراً بسّبع جوهريات ثقال، بفلسطين وروايتها التّاريخية، بالمقاومة الشّاملة، والوحدة الوطنية، بأهالي الشّهداء والأسرى، بالمرأة الفلسطينيّة حارسة نارنا المقدسة، بالديمقراطية الفلسطينيّة، والتّعدّديّة السّياسية، في الوعيّ التحرريّ، والهوية الوطنيّة الجامعة.

والجغرافيات التّحرّريّة الأربع: جغرافية الشّهداء النّموذج والرمز الملهم، جغرافية الأسـرى عناوين الفعل والحرّيّة الواجبة، جغرافية المخيم جوهر القضية، وحقّ العودة، وجغرافية الحركة الطلابية الوعيّ والعنفوان الشّبابي.
